Ever wondered what goes on behind the scenes when you book a home staging service? At Savvy Home Staging, we make the process smooth and stress-free, but there’s a lot of planning and detail that happens before your home is ready for its big reveal. But that's our problem, not yours! Here’s a peek at what you can expect:

Step 1. Initial Enquiry & Timeline Planning
It all starts with a conversation, sometimes on the phone, email, or even by txt. We’ll discuss your needs, the property details, and your timeline.
Tip: Spring is one of the busiest times for home stagers, so the earlier you book, the better chance you have to secure your preferred date for staging.
Step 2. Locking in Your Date
Once you’re ready to go ahead, we confirm your staging date and schedule it in our project management system. This ensures everything runs like clockwork, stock, styling, access, and logistics.
Step 3. Site Visit & Planning
A few days before installation, we visit the property. This step is crucial—we assess spaces, the home’s features, and reserve furniture so it fits perfectly in scale, colour, and style for your target market. We also arrange access details like keys and alarm codes so there are no surprises on staging day.
Step 4. Behind-the-Scenes Prep
The day before installation, our stylists spend hours selecting accessories, bedding, artwork, and colour schemes. This preparation ensures the staging day goes smoothly and your home looks stunning.
Step 5. Staging Day
Our logistics team delivers the larger furniture pieces by truck, and then our stylists work their magic—making beds, arranging accessories, and creating a cohesive look that buyers will love.
Step 6. Done! Ready for Real Estate Photography
Once staging is complete, your real estate photographer can capture the home at its absolute best. These photos are what make buyers stop scrolling and start booking viewings.
Step 7. Pack-Up After Sale
When your home sells, simply let us know. We’ll return to collect all the furniture and staging items, leaving you free to focus on your next chapter.
Home staging is more than just placing furniture—it’s a carefully planned process designed to make your property shine. If you’re thinking about selling in Manawatu, get in touch early to secure your spot!
